Are you using the free version of the app or the paid version of the app: Paid
If you are using the free version, have you upgraded to the full version?: Full
What device type are you using? iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad: IPad
What version of IOS is your device using? 5.0.1
What version of the app are you using? 1.5.1

Now that I have a few clients input to the app, and having multiple projects for each one, it is beginning to get cluttered. Having to keep adding new tasks for each project – the same tasks over and over again – is becoming frustrating.

Is there any way to archive completed projects?

If I could archive them – and their tasks – I wouldn't have to scroll down this long list of tasks with the same name. I am making mistakes and using tasks from old jobs and the time is therefore not being applied to the current project. what was once an app that was useful is quickly becoming cumbersome. I only do about 4 or 5 different things, but I now have about 50 iterations of the same thing and it's very confusing.

Thanks in advance

Are you creating a new instance of a task each time you do any work on the task?

You do the same 5 tasks for each customer that means for 10 customers you have to add 50 tasks, are you guys serious. And how do you delete tasks? Disappointed with my purchase totally impractical.

Hi Granthar,

I had always intended to add functionality that would allow the use of 'generic' projects/tasks, so when setting up a new client you could select projects and/or tasks from a list (which you pre-define), and to allow projects/tasks to be moved or copied.

This feature set has been on the development plan for quite a while, but the recent data loss has meant that I am currently rewriting myWorkTime from the ground up. I will ensure that the generic projects/tasks and the ability to copy and move projects/tasks is included from the first release of the new version.

Thanks

Jez

I also hope you make this change, as well as the ability to edit the time logs. Since the free version only allowed 1 task, etc., I did not realize this limitation before I purchased. If not adressed soon, I will continue to be disappointed in the purchase. Otherwise it is a lovely app, thank you.

The time logs can be edited. Click the edit button, change the details, click the save button.

I have the same problem. I purchased the product without able to test it. I like what does but now that I am entering tasks, I discovered that I am unable to edit names, like when make a mastake initially on the name, after click return you are done. Also delete for sample. If a task no longer needed or put a task that you did not mean t do?

You can edit the name. If you are using an iPhone, click the 'Edit' button in the top right corner of the screen. If you are on an iPad click the button with the picture of a pencil.

To delete an entity, if you are on an iPhone, swipe from left to right on the table cell containing the item you want to delete, and on an iPad, click the trash can icon.
